The special exhibition “Memorial Koji Kinutani” is currently being held at the Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum in Osaka.
The exhibition features a rich selection of his works, from his early pieces created during his time at Tokyo University of the Arts to frescoes and reproductions from his studies in Venice, the original artwork “Goddess of Silvery Peak” for the Nagano Winter Olympics official poster, “Mujaku and Seshin (Asanga and Vasubandhu),” undertaken at age seventy, and his final piece, “Treasure Ship Crossing the Colorful Clouds.” Spanning the 1960s through the 2020s, the exhibition traces the evolution of Kinutani’s distinctive artistic world decade by decade.
Works from our Foundation’s collection are also being exhibited. We look forward to your visit.
